Changelog
From the Desert Comes a Geode
- Added Lapis Lazuli geodes
- They only generate in deserts
- Lapis geodes have a middle layer of Pyrite
- Added Lapis Crystal Block
- Added Budding Lapis
- Added Lapis Clusters and Buds
- Small Lapis Buds drop a Pyrite Chunk when mined, which can be used to craft Pyrite blocks.
- Medium and Large Lapis Buds drop some Lapis Lazuli, but Lapis Clusters drop the most
- Added Pyrite
- Try bartering it with a Piglin!
- Added Pyrite Stairs, Slab, and Wall
- Added Pyrite Chunk
- Used to craft the Pyrite block
- Added Calcite Stairs, Slab, and Wall to go with Pyrite
- Added Gypsum Patches
- Gypsum Patches are found in deserts and badlands
- These 'patches' are a similar idea to geodes, expect they only generate on the surface
- Added Gypsum Crystal Block and Budding Gypsum
- Unlike other Budding blocks, Budding Gypsum only grows crystals upwards. However, Gypsum Crystals can still be placed in any direction
- Added Small Medium Gypsum Buds
- Added Large Gypsum Bud and Gypsum Rose
- These blocks are the double tall crystals, like Tall Grass, but can still be placed in any direction
- Added Gypsum Shard
- Can be used in composting or to craft Sand
- All items have been moved into a dedicated creative inventory tab called "More Geodes"
- Renamed the blocks Emerald Geode, Quartz Geode, and Diamond Geode to Emerald Crystal Block, Quartz Crystal Block, and Diamond Crystal Block respectively
- The IDs for these blocks have NOT changed, only their translation
- However, the IDs will be updated in Minecraft 1.20 to reflect the new names
- Collapsed all Echo Locator variants into a single Echo Locator
- The previous Echo Locator variants still exist, but are not accessible and will now drop the new Echo Locator when mined
- The variants will be removed in Minecraft 1.20
- The Echo Locator can now find any block with the tag
geodes:echo_locatable
, making it more easily integrated into mod packs. The mod natively supports crystals from Geode+ and Spectrum.
- Diamond Geodes middle layer is now 25% deepslate coal ore instead of 75%
- Diamond Geodes generate more commonly
- Updated Chinese translations by LimonBlaze (#23)
Update: Hotfix 1.6.1
- Fixed an issue where large crystal clusters could grow their head block through any block
- Added loot tables and crafting recipes for Lapis Lazuli Crystal Block and Budding Lapis Lazuli
