The Bygone is mod that adds a prehistoric dimension thats accessible via Archeology! Discover all of the ancient secrets of Minecraft, and what happened to its ancient creatures!

You can access the dimension right now by activating a Bygone Frame (found via the Underground and the new cartographer maps) with a unique item only found in the Trail Ruins or Ominous Vaults! (Pictured below!)

Features!

Since we're in prealpha, we have a lot of content thats still being worked on! This list will continue to grow as we iterate and collect feedback!!

Biomes:

The Underhang: A lush upside down forest with some familiar faces... )
The Primordial Ocean: Shelves of ancient water stacked upon each other to form this biome.
The Amber Desert: Chunks of ancient Amber and fossils are scattered throughout this arid wasteland.
The Shelvehollow: Strange spores fill the air in this fungal biome.

Items/Tools:

Ancient Hook : A primitive grappling hook that'll help in you traversing the dimension.
Arcane Core : A unique item that can light the Bygone Portals found in Y=-20 and below! Can be found in Ominous Vaults or more commonly in Trail Ruins via Archelogy!
Exotic Arrows : When you make an Arrow with Exotic Plumage (Found from Big Beaks), you get this handy arrow! It will return to you if you miss your shot! Just make sure to not have a full inventory!
Verdigris Blade : A unique Sword only found in the Sewers! It can block (most) damage, and instant hits. However, it is easily broken and can't enchant as well as any other tool!
Verdigris Bow : A unique Bow only found in the Sewers! It can instant shoot Arrows at a much lower damage. However, it is easily broken and can't enchant as well as any other tool!

Mobs:

Big Beak- A new mount that doesn't take fall damage!
Copperbug- A small insect that only appears in the Sewers!
Fungal Parent/Child- A being made of spores that will only attack anything that gets too close to its child.
Pest- A small fiend that will eat up Players (unprotected) crops!
Scuttle - A strange fish-like creature that spews spikes of weakness at nearby players!
