Hey everyone! I like to call this update "The community update" as every features and bug-fix has been requested and detected by the community (: As I am going camping today for the weekend, I won't have time to release a 1.18.2 port of the update. Expect that one to come out Wednesday latest!
This version is marked as "Beta" as I haven't had the time to properly test it. I will set it to "Release" once I know it's stable.

Hey everybody!
Been on Holiday for the past month or so, but here's some balance changes and bug fixes after a month of feedback:
- Pertilyo Rods are now fireproof alongside being lightning resistant
- Coal Dens are now 20% more common
- Splashes of Glow Grease are now about 33% more common in dripstone caves
- Rubro’s tail-spin attack can now be shielded
- Fixed an issue where unnamed Fossilized Rubros may despawn
- Fixed an issue where wild Rubros would not despawn
Last thing, this should be the last update before the Forge port of Earthbounds is released, alongside a Fabric rewrite! For more information, join the discord server (:
Hey everybody!
Been on Holiday for the past month or so, finally got to updating Earthbounds to 1.19 :)
Either way, after a month of feedback here's some balance changes and bug fixes:
- Pertilyo Rods are now fireproof alongside being lightning resistant
- Coal Dens are now 20% more common
- Splashes of Glow Grease are now about 33% more common in dripstone caves
- Rubro’s tail-spin attack can now be shielded
- Fixed an issue where unnamed Fossilized Rubros may despawn
- Fixed an issue where wild Rubros would not despawn
Since this is the first port of the mod to 1.19, it's likely to have some bugs which may cause crashes. If you do encounter these, report them on Github. I recommend you make a world backup before updating your world to 1.19 with Earthbounds present, in the extremely unlikely event of something going wrong. Though this should be with any mod when updating Minecraft version.
Last thing, this should be the last update before the Forge port of Earthbounds is released, alongside a Fabric rewrite! For more information, join the discord server (:
Earthbounds 1.1.2's focus was to add support for Origins, with the addition of the Rubian origin. With that in mind, here's the changelog:
- Added Powered Beetroot (Powers up and Heals Rubros)
- Added new Origin “Rubian”
- Rubians have a redstone bar instead of a food bar
- Rubians saturation tracker is replaced with a power tracker
- Rubians may only eat redstone food
- Rubians attributes are affected by their power
- Rubians start with 8 Primordial Redstone and 64 Redstone
- Rubians can use 2 redstone points (from the redstone bar) to shoot a madder buck
- Rubians begin their journey with a Fossilized Rubro
- Rubians cannot swim
- Added 9 Rubian exclusive foods (Will be present only if Origins is installed)
- Doubled spawn rates of Pertilyos
- Pertilyos now may rarely drop Pertilyo Rods on kill (Though, allowing them to be stricken by lightning is still easier to obtain them)
- Updated chinese localization (Thank you EndsM!)
- Added russian localization (Thank you syorit-hatsuki!)
- Fixed an issue where Fossilized Rubros may despawn under certain circumstances
This is likely to be the last feature update for Earthbounds until the Forge port. I got university exams coming up, and I am also working on a second mod which I will be focusing on. As always, for anything feel free to join discord server!
The Ru-Bro expansion is out (for 1.18.2, 1.18.1 version will be worked on the next days)!

- Once fully grown, it can be charged up with redstone

Here's a hotfix update for the latest release, tackling balancing issues mostly.
- Shimmer Shells explode on collision with an entity
- Shimmer shells now take 20 ticks to explode when on the ground instead of 10
- Crafting recipe for Shimmer shells now provides 4 shells instead of 2
- Shimmer shells can be stacked up to 32
- Flinging potions can be stacked up to 3 (EXPERIMENTAL)
- Tweaked Rubro spin-attack animation
Shimmer Shells were too weak for their cost, so hopefully this now should be solved.
A bit of an experimental change are the Flinging Potions stacking up to 3, making them more viable for Flingshots.
Finally, after MONTHS of wait: the Cuprum Update, 1.1 is out!
- Added Pertilyo (Copper Earthen)
- Added Flingshot
- Added Flinging Potions (Made using Amethyst Dust)

- Changed Glow Grease to generate only in dripstone caves (though more commonly)
- Changed sound effect that plays when hitting an Earthen entity with the wrong tool
- Breaking some blocks using the Crumble enchantment may yield special drops
- Divided creative inventory into new tabs (Placeables, Combat, Misc, Brewing)
- Tweaked redstone fossil advancements to be triggered when breaking the block and not when picking it up
- Crumble enchantment is now compatible with Efficiency
- Crumble enchantment is no longer compatible with Fortune
- Fixed an issue where glow grease wouldn’t be classified in the correct sound group
What's next? Many people have been confused about the Redstone Fossils and have been wondering what their use is... Well, you will soon find out.
- Mod’s now available for 1.18.2
- Added chinese translation (Thank you EndsM!)
- Tweaked Glow Grease generation (Should be a bit more common)
Hopefully this will be the last version until the Cuprum update! Until then though, I’d really appreciate it if you guys could vote in a survey found on the mod’s discord server (link found at the bottom of the Earthbound’s page). The winning option will dictate how Glow Grease generates in the overworld! Thank you :)
