Changelog:
- Fix a bug with the weeping golem that would cause them to stop healing (thanks to totomio for the bug report)
- Added the pious golem, which is identical to the weeping golem but can heal its owner
- Allow tactile golems to pick up items that are dropped near them, i.e. by a dispenser
- Allow parched golems to fill water bottles (buckets are preferred)
- Certain golems (i.e. entropic) refuse to hold items so that it's obvious they're not using them
- Make base golem search radius configurable
- Added unit tests to (hopefully) catch more bugs
Changelog:
- Added obsidian effigies, made from obsidian and crying obsidian. They are similar to terracotta golems, but are completely immune to fire and lava.
- Effigies are now placed down as a block, rather than an entity. Otherwise, they work exactly the same.
- Entropic golems now emit smoke particles when their target block is too hard to break.
- Add support for Croparia/Stemaria to Verdant golems (thanks to @shanks3042 for pull request).
- Add support for Companions mod (thanks to @Sirkilium for bug report).
- Improve golem AI and pathfinding (thanks to @Sirkilium for bug report).
This release is all about polish and presentation! It makes a bunch of little changes to golem behavior, animations and sounds, and also adds the ability to dye terracotta golems in a range of fabulous colors.
Changelog:
- Mutation mechanic was revamped to fix a bug that was causing mutations to only occur about 50% of the time.
- Many different golems now make a noise when picking up, extracting or inserting an item.
- Curious golems now "nod" their heads when staring at a block, to make it easier to tell when they have found something.
- Intrepid golems now swing their arm when throwing clay balls.
- Restless golems now pick up dropped flowers and hold them.
- Restless golems now dance when in the presence of a jukebox containing a music disc.
- Tactile golems now swing their arm when interacting with an object.
- Verdant golems now swing their arm when planting, and make a planting noise.
- Weeping golems now slowly lift their arms while healing something.
- Fixed a bug in weeping golems that caused them to forget their owner if the owner isn't logged in.
- Made it harder for golems to teleport into a wall.
- It is now possible to dye a terracotta golem by right-clicking them with dye.
Changelog:
- Changed the way golems work under the hood to make future localisation of the mod much easier.
- Removed the ability to heal golems with clay.
- Added support for Expanded Storage to golems that interact with inventories.
- Fixed a bug that was causing golems to drop XP when killed.
- Implemented a configurable cooldown (in ticks) for all golems that do expensive work like searching for blocks, which should improve performance significantly.
- Added the "Careful Golem", which can sort items from one inventory into others nearby.
NOTE: This is a minor version release that contains some breaking changes. If you upgrade to this version from an old world that had Golemancy installed, it shouldn't crash but your old soulstones will probably become invalid.
Changelog:
- Add the Marshy Golem, which can be obtained from Drowned zombies. Equipped with a fishing rod, they can fish for you. Higher Agility will make them fish more quickly, and higher Smarts will reduce the chance of fishing up junk.
- Add a new feature to the Golem Wand; if any golems are following within 120 blocks, you can right-click the wand on a block to instantly teleport them to you.
- Make golem movement AI update every tick like vanilla movement goals, making golems faster & more responsive.
