About
This mod adds a new hammer tool, along with crushing recipes to all ore blocks and raw ores for an increased yield. Ideal for early-game resource gathering. Vanilla-style.
Features
✨The Crushing Hammer: A new tool to process ore blocks and raw ores.
✨Ore Dusts: Byproducts of ore processing using the hammer. Can be smelted into ingots for double the output.
✨New recipes: All ores and gems get bonus yields when crushed with the hammer.
✨Built-in Create compatibility, including Zinc processing and Bulk Blasting recipes.
✨Balanced output: The final yield is equivalent to that of Fortune II, to keep Fortune III relevant.
Media
You can craft the Crushing Hammer with copper and a bit of iron. It has 74 durability and is only meant for use in a crafting table. It can be repaired on an anvil with copper ingots.
Using the Crushing Hammer on raw Copper, Iron and Gold yields Ore Dusts, which can then be smelted into ingots for double the base output.
With ore blocks, this yield can be increased to 3x the base rate for standard ore blocks, and up to 4x for deepslate ore blocks.
Special ore blocks like Ancient Debris or Nether Quartz also have recipes for increased output.
Gems also get bonus yields, with Diamond and Emerald being limited to double the base output for balancing reasons.
