quick-pack

A simple fabric mod to improve datapack / resourcepack zip file loading times for zips with many files.

This was tested on a resourcepack with ~30.000 files inside the zip. Loading times could be decreased from ~18 seconds to ~4 seconds!

quick-pack vs vanilla

This is a comparison between joining a polymania v0.5.0-beta.1 server, with quick-pack vs without it (vanilla). Polymania generates a 42.3MiB zip file with 57438 entries inside! Joining Polymania Server

quick-pack finishes after 5 seconds, while vanilla needs 29 seconds!
